I'm really happy with this one. =P Though I'm slowly losing satisfaction with it. xD
There's still a bit of crookedness, but I didn't want to edit it much more, so it is what it is, now.
Kind of cropped . . . but the pictures looked shitty.


. . . My art teacher's still really annoying. =B

To be honest, it looks a little unfinished to me. To me it looks like this is set at night, with a light coming from below, so the fact that the color in the background is considerably lighter than the black and it fades quickly is throwing me. Is part of the assignment to have it fade like that? 'Cause if it is, I think if you were to increase the darkness and intensity of the part of the sky you have colored it might pull things together a little better.

I agree that something looks unfinished about this piece in general, but as for the cathedral itself- lovely!

She definitely didn't assign me to do this. My detail work bothers her. :eyeroll: And it's definitely meant to be set during the day . . . maybe the purple is making it look like night or something? It probably could do with a little color around the edge to pull it together more, I guess, but I'm a little worried that too much might fuck it up.

Hmm, well, you really wouldn't want to eff it up, it's still really awesome. But if you're willing to risk it, I'd recommend like a light, even layer of light blue over the whole/most of the sky that you've got, that might do it? But the evenness is important, 'cause it looks like you've got some scratchiness going with the color that's already there.

Yeah . . . she's just an asshole to me in general, so . . .

I did some work on it. Hopefully it looks better, though the color's a bit off in the back.
